Rope-access works — work at height and difficult access
Rope access works: scaling, anchors, mesh and shotcrete on rock faces, cliffs and slopes.
Rope access makes it possible to work on a face that neither scaffolding nor an aerial platform can reach: a cliff, a rock slope, a retaining wall above a drop. Scaling, anchor drilling, mesh installation and shotcrete spraying are all carried out from the ropes.

What are rope-access works?
French labour law only allows rope access when collective protection, scaffolding or a platform, is technically impossible or more dangerous. Each operative then works on two independently anchored ropes, a working rope and a safety rope, with anchors checked before each job.
On the rock faces and slopes of the Alpes-Maritimes and the Var, these techniques are used for stabilisation: scaling of unstable blocks, drilling of anchors and nails, installation of mesh and nets, shotcrete. Equipment can be brought in by hand or by rope, with no access track or machinery.
